SINDHUDURG FORT

The Sindhudurg Fort is a protected monument which lies on the shores of Malvan town. The fort was constructed by Chhatrapati Shivajiraje in the 1650s. His hand and foot prints can be seen imprinted on the monument.

There is a temple built in honor of Shivaji by his son Rajaram, it is the only temple in the world. The fort is a popular tourist destinations not only for its historical value but for water activities like scuba diving and snorkeling.

ROCK GARDEN

The Rock garden is situated near the Arase Mahal, on the rocky shore of Malvan. It is a beautifully built garden overlooking the Chivla beach. BEST TIME TO VISIT IS EVENING 



BEACHES 


There are 6 beaches in and around Malvan. Tarkarli, Arse Mahal, Chivla, Tondavali, Achra and Devbaug. They have minimal human interventions and are thus favored by tourists.

Of these, Tarkarli and Devbaug beaches are properly developed by the state tourism department to suit accommodation and food needs of tourists.

RAMESHWAR TEMPLE 

Rameshwar Temple is located in Achara village of Malvan. Shri Rameshwar is the residing deity of the village. The temple has a huge courtyard and a self immersed Shivalingam in the sanctum.
THIS IS VERY OLD TEMPLE AND HAS VERY BEAUTIFUL VIEW
The enchanting sculptures welcome people at the entrance of the temple. You can also visit achara beach same time


 


CASHEW NUT FACTORIES

There are many cashew nut factories in malvan , who allow visitors to view there production process at free of cost . you can enjoy the same and can also buy cashew nuts at factory rate

SHOPPING AT MALVAN

Malvan is famous for it's sea-food dishes. You can buy Malvani Masala to make these dishes at home. You can also find products of Mango, Kokum, Cashews. Wooden toys are best buy here at local market

 मराठी मध्ये ब्लॉग लिहिण्याचा हा माझा पहिला प्रयत्न , आशा आहे तुम्हाला वाचायला आवडेल ...  Golden Chariot : Hampi खूप वर्ष मला "हंपी" ला जायचं होत पण काही वेळा कामामुळे अथवा इतर काही कारणांनी जमत नव्हते . LOCKDOWN नंतर जेंव्हा कुठे जाण्याचा विचार चालू झाला, तेंव्हा सर्वप्रथम "हंपी" हे नाव माझ्या मनात आले आणि सगळे योग् अगदी छान जुळून येऊन आमचं हंपी येथे (१९ फेब २०२१ )पदार्पण झाले.  मी आणि माझी फॅमिली; ज्यात मी माझा नवरा आणि ८ वर्षाची मुलगी हे येतात, आमचा प्रवास आमच्या CAR ने खारघर येथून सकाळी ७ वाजता चालू झाला. हंपी येथे आम्ही आधीच "क्लार्क इन्" हॉटेल ONLINE ५ दिवसांसाठी BOOK केले होते. प्रवासाबद्दल बोलायचे तर, खारघर, नवी मुंबई ते हुबळी फाट्यापर्यंत रास्ता चांगला आहे पण त्यापुढे फार वेळ वाया जातो , छोट्या रस्त्यामुळे आणि आपल्या येथील लोकल ट्रॅफिक मुळे वेळ वाया जातो. आम्ही साधारण रात्री ९:३० ला हॉटेल वर पोहोचलो.  पोहोचल्यावर एक गोष्ट लक्षात आली ती म्हणजे, ऑनलाईन बुकिंग मध्ये आमचे प्रति रात्री १००० रुपये वाया गेले होते .
