Yes, We Did it
Difficult but we did 21days Europe trip in just 2 lac pp all inclusive
for that we did months of planning
Here I am going to share all tips and our Experience of our Tour
1) First of all, we fixed our budget in September 2017 (Fix your budget)
2) According to our Budget, we started RnD and finalised our locations to cover. (Fix Locations)
3) Locations Covered as follows with the same order
- Budapest: Hungary
- Vienna: Austria
- Prague: Czechia
- Berlin: Germany
- Amsterdam: Netherland
- Belgium: Brussels
- Paris: France
4) We booked our air transfer in a month of Nov first week. so we got return air tickets for 50k. So book your tickets 6 months before the travel date, you will save more cost here. Skyscanner is best option to compare ticket rates
- Mumbai to Budapest
- Paris to Mumbai
5) To save money, we travelled by Public transports. Believe me, Public Transport in Europe is easy to understand and much convenient than Mumbai. And If we can travel here in Mumbai then we can travel to any place in the world. You can use trams/ trains/ metro ... etc, travellers pass is available in case of a day pass or 3 days pass. Save money in that. Avoid taxies, but yes if you are in a group then that is 1 option in share base.
6) Flex Bus is comfortable transportation service to transfer one country to another. way cheaper and fast. Advance online bookings are available, also 99 euro pass is there for any 5 routes.
link for booking: https://www.flixbus.com/ be careful with your luggage weight or else you need to pay more. Some people choose Euro rail as well
7) Book your attraction prior to avoid a rush and to save your time. Such as to book Eiffel Tour go to link https://www.eiffeltickets.com/ Decide Date and Time to visit that attraction and book it before 2/3 months because that is subject to availability.
8) Food is a part of our trips and life, We did not find any other breakfast type there except European BF. so better you carry ready to eat packets for your small hunger and cravings. Believe me, whether you like package food or not here in India there, after 4/5 days that same food you will feel like a blessing ЁЯШЭ
Food and water are little costly in Europe, so better drink tap water, yes it's safe to drink. Don't forget to carry your water bottle when you go out for sightseeing. Most of the hotel has 24 hours Hot water facility, with the help of that you can make your coffee, preheat your ready meals...etc ... if kettle not provided.
9) Hotel: Book hotels 3/4 months before to get discounts on booking, but remember to book your hotels in the city centre itself to avoid unnecessary travelling.
10) Currency: Euro is the best option. and at some countries where Euro is not accepted, you can exchange euro at your hotel desk at a very good rate, **don't exchange your currency at an airport ever**
11) Be ready with your offline Google Map .... My map attached here for your reference LINK
12) Travelling and exploring is little costly so, HOP ON HOP of Bus is best for city sightsing, there you will get a useful audio assistance about lots of main attraction, understand history, pick up and drops at there stops. They almost cover 20 to 30 point of attraction and which is not possible to do in a day. so better to book 72 hours pass of that.
