POINTS OF INTEREST
PETRONAN TWIN TOWER
The Petronas Towers were the tallest buildings in the world for six years, until Taipei 101 was completed in 2004. The height of the towers is measured to the top of their structural components such as spires, but do not include antennas. Spires are considered actual integral parts of the architectural design of buildings, to which changes would substantially change the appearance and design of the building, whereas antennas may be added or removed without such consequences. The Petronas Towers still remain the tallest twin buildings in the world

PETALING STREET
Definitely a place to go when visiting Kuala Lumpur. Nice atmosphere, great variety of goods, from local to fakes, and a lot of stands with Chinese food for cheap prices. Crowded with both locals and tourist. It is a great place to see atmosphere different from sterile shopping malls.
THEAN HOU TEMPLE

Lovely temple, very colourful and seems to be a popular marriage venue! Probably worth a trip, there are a few levels to explore but it's not massive. Bit in the middle of now here, but often a taxi will agree to wait around and take you back or you can walk there from KL Sentral train station in about 30mins.

Best mall for shopping, dining, money exchange, coffeeshop, etc. The parking lot is huge but it barely covers the load of people coming. Clothes are of good quality and average price. Lots of dining choices. Also, the mall is very well designed gives you a lot of space to walk and find stuff, not cluttered. Best mall ever!

BUTTERFLY PARK
Thousands of colorful butterflies everywhere. Small place but plenty of different sized and colored butterflies. Really enjoyable spot if you like these creatures. Not only did they seem to have a large variety of butterflies but they also had developed the enclosure to be wonderful "park" as well. They have little waterfalls, ivy overhang pathways and terraces to sit and enjoy the butterflies and fish in the ponds. This is all outdoors, so it can get a little humid and hot, but nothing a little water can cure. They also have other insects and information on all of them as you exit the enclosure. The ticket was only 22 MYR so I am not sure why people are complaining about the price. Adult or children will love this place, so definitely make your way here!
