KHARGHAR TO AURANGABAD 4 DAYS PLAN

Aurangabad, the city where “Something’s Always Cooking”.
With exotic tastes to treat your taste buds, Aurangabad is a place where you are always spoilt for choice. There are so many gems hidden in corners across the city that would never cease to amaze you. I would name a few places here but, by no means, this is a complete & exhaustive list. To get some measure of the culinary delights of Aurangabad, you will have to take the streets, give up your inhibitions and gorge like a king. You haven't tasted Aurangabad if you haven't tried following places in Aurangabad…

  • Veg
    • Hurda:
The tender Jawar (Sorghum) stalks are roasted / barbecued in hot coal ashes & then the roasted tendor Jawar (Sorghum) is called as
Hurda. Hurda is then served along with Chataney (desiccated coconut garlic with dried red chilli). Somewhere in month of December to January tender stalks of Jawar (Sorghum) are ready in farms. Here is collection of best places near Aurangabad for Hurda Party.
      • Hiranya Resort, Near Daultabad Lake Ellora Road, Daultabad.
      • Naturo Feels Lawn Village Dhaba, Palsi Bakapur Village, 3 Km Ahead From Paradeshwar Mandir, Palshi, Aurangabad. (+(91)-2430-482323)
    • Veg Thali:
If you want the whole of India on one plate, you should definitely visit
NaivaidyaThaat BaatTinu Ri DhaniBhoj. Being the best Pan-India fusion restaurants in Aurangabad, it combines the different cuisines of the region into one single eating experience. Specially in Thaat Baat, thali served with style on a literal silver platter. Also entering in tinu ri dani restaurant is like entering an ancient temple; eating there is a unique experience.
    • Tara Pan Center:
It’s taste and flavor remain with those who eat it, yes that is how Aurangabadkar usually introduce Tara Pan to their guest. Normally how much do you pay for a paan? Rs 10-20 would be the most common answer. Maybe around Rs 100 for some special
paan, and that is it. Well, then you might not have heard about Kohinoor Paan. This paan sold by Tara Pan Centre will cost you Rs 5,000.
    • Kale Bandhu Restraurant:
Extremely awesome for Shevga fry. You should go here just to test the heavenly Cooked Shevga fry i.e. Drumstick fry. It has small area but its worth to compromise on that to feed your taste buds. Apart from that it serves authentic Maharashtrian food.
    • Green Leaf Vegetarian Cuisine:
Green Leaf serves North Indian and Chinese cuisine, and I’d especially recommend the North Indian side of the menu: go for the paneer tikka with kulcha, then try the jalebi (a tasty deep fried dessert) or the rabdi (a saucy, fermented sweet dish made with yogurt).
    • Bakers Lounge & Indiana Veg Restaurant and Cake Boutique:
A premier and popular destination for Aurangabadkars of all varieties cakes & pastries. Their beautiful presented & mouth watering range of cakes is out of this world. Both places are equally good and offers some great Salads, Wraps, Pizzas, Sandwiches, Pastas, Footlongs and Chinese Food. The Pasta and Mayo salad, Mexican Paneer Salsa Pizza, Pizza Sicilian, Peri Peri Wrap, seems to be hottest selling. The sizzling brownie and death by chocolate pastry at the end was simply great.
    • Sai Panchvati Paav Bhaji:
This place is good for foodies loving street food. Pav bhaji is their speciality but tawa pulao is also equally good. The add ons are good too. The tikhi red Chatni is awesome. Spice is their hit! Do remember that it is always crowded, so be early here than when you want to eat!

  • There are plenty of best options available here in Aurangabad for non-veg lovers. I am vegetarian so as giving this suggestion based on general perception by non-veg lovers in Aurangabad. Public favorites are with their speciality
    • Mughal Darbar: The list is endless, Try everything :P
    • Great Sagar Restaurant: Aurangabadi Chicken, Seekh kabab, Mutton zaika & "Mastani" drink.
    • Haleem at Munna Bhai's stall: Another popular dish is the Haleem. The availability of which is restricted during Ramzan. A great place to have Haleem is Munna Bhai's stall in Himayat Bagh, which is open only during Ramzan. And while you are here, dont forget to try out his dessert specials - Mango Rabdi, Dudhi Halwa and Apricots with cream.
    • Delhi Gate Islami Hotel: ‘Paya’ The specialty here is paya (trotter soup), was a popular breakfast dish not just in Aurangabad, but also in Iran and Afghanistan

I would recommend many of the restaurants around Buddi Ln Market for non-veg specialty. Buddi Galli is a melee of meat and smoke, with food being prepared everywhere you look.

Hope I partially solved your query! (Y) Happy Eating!

P.S. Feel free to add more places that I have missed out.
